The Japanese art of folding paper, plus some everyday objects, results in these beautiful miniature scenes created by Norwegian artist Wenche Lise Fossland.
Wenche Lise designs colorful and creative origami pieces that include various types of animals such as owls or elephants, and other objects such as dresses or umbrellas.
This artist admits that since she began making her creations, she sees with other eyes all the objects around her. "A fennel can be an exotic island and broccoli has great potential to be a tree in my origami world," he says.
